Leave No Trace
Give It a Go are now providing Leave No Trace courses.
The Leave No Trace programme is designed to help outdoor enthusiasts value the natural environment, to understand the impact of their activities, and to enable them to make decisions to minimise that impact while still enjoying their activities with freedom.
As an Advanced Trainer, also known as Master Educators in America, we can provide a wide range of Leave No Trace courses from short awareness sessions up to two day trainer courses which often include an overnight camp.
We can provide a customised Leave No Trace course to best suit your needs, from Scout Groups to Kayak Clubs, we can help you incorporate the ethos of Leave No Trace and enchance your experience of the outdoors.
A Leave No Trace Awareness Session consists of an information workshop incorporating a little theory as well as techniques to minimise impact. They are most appropriate for the majority of people wanting to learn more about the Leave No Trace principles and can be designed to last from 1 hour up to a full day.
Go on, Give it A Go!
What can I say, as a first time attendee to ‘Leave no Trace’ I found that the majority of people have at their core beliefs to respect and ensure that we leave no negative impact of our presence in areas of recreation, scenic beauty or walkways. Course excellently delivered, well done Duncan.

Festival of Outdoor Learning 2016
In April this year I was delighted to be given the opportunity to provide a workshop at the Festival of Outdoor Learning, hosted by Environmental Education Ireland at Lough Dan in County Wicklow.
The workshop was called "Cooking, Campfires and Fun". Participants learnt how to safely cook in the outdoors using anumber of environmentally friendly methods. People were able to make warm drinks, toast marshmallows and make bread over a campfire using a very simple recipe.
The weekend was a fantastic experience, everyone I met was so enthusiastic about the benefits of outdoor learning, and the inherent opportunities for social and personal development as well as having fun.
